Work-From-Home Power Outage Backup: Keeping Wifi and Laptop Running

A laptop, monitor, and home router/modem draw relatively little continuous power — usually well under 200W combined — which a small power station handles easily for many hours.

Your internet still depends on your ISP's own infrastructure staying up during an outage — a power station keeps your equipment running, but if the outage is area-wide, your ISP's local node may also be down until utility power or their own backup kicks in.

A cellular hotspot on battery is a reasonable fallback if your home internet goes down independent of your own power.
